Local Outreach

Lake Bible Church has always had a heart for Missions. Each year, we set aside up to 10% of congregational giving to support local and international ministries, sharing the hope of Christ near and far.

Locally, we partner with the NW Bible Training Center (addiction recovery), Faithful Friends (mentorship for children), and Milton Morochos (training Hispanic leaders and evangelistic work in Texas and Mexico). We also join in ministries such as Angel Tree, Operation Christmas Child, Union Gospel Mission, and Spokane VBS.

At home, we live out our mission through Awana, Vacation Bible School, the Community Easter Egg Hunt, Angel Tree, and our Christmas outreach, The Journey to Bethlehem. In every effort, our goal is the same—to help children and adults come to know and follow Jesus Christ.

International Missions

In Oaxaca, Mexico, Pastor Elias Ramirez has been supported by Lake Bible for 20 years, enabling him to lead Sublime Gracia Iglesia without additional employment. In Uganda, we’ve partnered with Pastor Muyanja and Good Samaritan Schools since 1994, helping educate nearly 1,500 children. Our outreach extends through Mission India’s efforts to establish Bible clubs, literacy classes, and church planting. Annual short-term missions to Oaxaca, Mexico, and Uganda strengthen global outreach and foster unity within our church.

The Mission Committee’s hope is to present the congregation of Lake with a view of the missions we are actively engaging with and how the Lord is providing.
