-              Monitor and upkeep spaces for children’s environments.

-              Perform proper training, background checks, and reviews of volunteers

Security & Safety Protocols

The safety of our children is a sacred responsibility. Lake Kids maintains clear, consistent, and proactive safety measures:

  • Every volunteer completes a comprehensive background check, renewed every three years

  • Every volunteer participates in safety training through a trusted third-party organization

  • Every volunteer affirms and submits to the vision and doctrinal statements of Lake Bible

  • Every volunteer is trained in and agrees to uphold Lake Kids’ bright-line safety policies, ensuring clear boundaries and consistent procedures across all environments

 

Ongoing Evaluation

Lake Kids is committed to continuous improvement in pursuit of excellence.

  • Monthly ministry meetings are held to evaluate systems, curriculum, volunteer health, and child engagement

  • Adjustments are made proactively to ensure each area of the ministry is supported, effective, and aligned with our mission

  • Feedback is welcomed and used to strengthen the ministry for kids, families, and volunteers alike
